And when we reach the final bar, We're different from the one who's flown.

A door to a place we've never been before.

Poetry is a tear, a moment heralding grief,

A laugh, a joy beaming with thoughts so dear.

 

Poetry is a mirror to our soul,

A path to find ourselves, our inner goal.

Poetry is a whisper, a word to speak,

A gentle sound, a gentle peek.

A memory to hold dear, a joy to cry.

Poetry is a friend when we feel alone,

A bond to share our sorrows, our unknown.

To help us find our way, a gift anew.

A mystery to uncover, a treasure to track.

Poetry is a maze, a labyrinth to run,

A challenge to face, until life's done.

Transformed by its light, to see a world remade.
